We offer the following range of parent support, help and training programs.
Our programs are modular so you can tailor a program to your specific parenting needs and learning expectations at the time.
Our programs are 2-4 hours in length and offered daytime and evenings (subject to minimum numbers).

| Effective communication to build healthy relationships post children | This module is aimed at enabling participants to develop enhanced and effective communication and interpersonal skills in order to have more meaningful relationships. |
| Stress Management for parents | This module is a stress management and relaxation course which looks at the theory and practical application of stress management from stress arising from the parent-child relationship or environment. |
| Building resilience for children | This module is aimed at enabling adult participants to learn how to enhance their child’s identity, developing a healthy self esteem, competence, self worth and increasing an individuals coping capacity. |
| Coping with the anxious child | This group would be suitable for parent/s of a child they consider to display social withdrawal, lack of competence and confidence as well as insecurity and anxiety. |
| Co-parenting after separation | This workshop will enable participants strategies of how to develop a co-parenting relationship in the best interest of the child/ren after a parental situation. |
| Preparing your child for Prep | This workshop explores how parents can best prepare their pre-schooler for the transition to Prep. This looks at the 4-6 year old age group. |
| Identifying & dealing with harming behaviours in adolescence | This workshop is for parents of adolescents from the ages of 11-16 years. It looks at ways in which parents can identify harming behaviours, strategies and referral pathways to begin to understand and support these children. |
| Helping your child deal with separation anxiety | This workshop explores ways in which parent/s can assist their child to deal with separation anxiety as well as enabling them to become more independent. |
| Parenting effectiveness training (Triple P) | This workshop program consists of a series of workshops as part of the Triple P parenting effectiveness program. We can look at issues that affect the parent-child relationship such as not sleeping, night terrors, bed wetting, talking back, disobedience etc |
| Dealing with disobedience- from resistance to resilience | This workshop explores ways in which parents can proactively engage their child’s resistance turning it into resilience. |
| Helping your child cope with bullying | This workshop look at interventions, referral pathways and proactive strategies to assist your child to cope with the negative impact of bullying. |
| Coping with a new baby | This workshop will equip new parents with skills to cope with their baby as well as identify any potential indicators of post natal depression (PND) as well as management options. It will also look at what healthy development is for the new baby and how to continue the couple relationship. This one is for Dads too! |
| Blending two families into one step family | This workshop looks at family dynamics associated with new relationships where there are children from either or both partner’s previous relationships. We will also look at ways to manage and enhance the step family structure by blending two into one. |
| Dealing with high conflict situations | This workshop is designed for parents and children in conflict as well as conflict in the spousal relationship. We will look at ways to defuse conflict, engage and grow more effective and beneficial communication. |
Post Separation Education
| Co-parenting | This module is aimed at enabling participants to develop skills to be able to effectively co-parent after a parental separation ensuring the best interest of the children are upheld. |
| Parenting Orders Program | This module looks at ways to develop positive communication between the separated parties with respect to the child/ren. We also look at appropriate discipline, how to assist child/ren to live between two houses and other adjustment issues. |
| Recovery from Separation | This module is aimed at enabling adult participants to learn ways to improve their coping capacity which has been reduced since separation. This workshop also looks at new relationships, telling the children, and finding and building confidence and independence post separation. |
| Preparing your child for change | This workshop is for parents who are in the process of or considering separation and who would like learn ways to manage this change as well as ensure psychological factors of the child/ren are taken into consideration. |
| Introduction to Family Dispute Resolution | This workshop enables the separating parent/s to understand the process of family dispute resolution before engaging in it. Discussion of parenting plans, 60I certificates, what is child’s best interests. |
| Understanding domestic violence and family domestic violence | This workshop is for parents who wish to gain and understanding of DV and FDV and its impact on themself and their child/ren. We will also explore recovery paths to break the cycle. |
